Application for calorie counting by photo (ios/android)

Looking for a performer to develop a mobile application (iOS and Android) based on an already existing web version. There is a ready design, which I will provide for evaluation. The amount in the project estimate is random, please suggest your own.

📌 Conditions:

• The web version of the project has already been implemented on Laravel, and there is a ready design.

• First, it is necessary to prepare an API for mobile clients (REST/JSON) covering all current web functionality.

• After that — develop mobile applications for iOS and Android (cross-platform — Flutter/React Native, or native).

• The design is ready, the web logic is implemented, and the backend is working.

📌 What is required from the performer:

1. Set up and implement the API on top of the current Laravel version.

2. Connect the mobile application to the API (authentication, data handling, file uploads, push notifications, etc.).

3. Build and test applications for iOS and Android.

4. Prepare for publication in the App Store and Google Play.

1. Purpose of the product

The application helps the user track calorie and macronutrient (proteins, fats, carbohydrates) consumption through:

• recognition of dishes by photo;

• manual addition of ingredients;

• formation of an individual meal plan;

• visualization of progress;

• push notifications and contextual tips.

2. Main roles

• User: onboarding, plan creation, dish scanning, dashboard, history, profile, settings, notifications, feedback.

• Administrator (web panel): user management, scans, AI prompts, settings, and analytics.

• Service processes: goal calculation, prompt generation, logging, notifications.

3.1. Onboarding and authentication

• Registration (regular, quick, via Google OAuth).

• Email confirmation with a code.

Step-by-step process (gender, height/weight, activity, goals, goal details), completion with automatic calculation of target calories and macronutrients.
