Looking for a professional video editor for regular editing of short videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook.
Video format: 30-60 seconds.
I need a not an SMM cutter, but a editor who creates a visually strong, modern product with thoughtful dynamics, color, graphics, and especially subtitles.
I have 5-7 reference Reels with examples of subtitles, effects, and quality level. I will provide them at the start.
What needs to be done
- Editing short videos 30-60 seconds
- Trendy editing that holds attention.
- Fast pace, correct accents, visual dramaturgy.
- AI integrations
- Using AI image generation for humorous/accent inserts.
- The ability to select relevant visual jokes and enhance meaning.
- Graphics and inserting elements
- Cutting out objects/cars/people, inserting them into the frame without looking “cheap”.
- Normal work with masks, keys, tracking (if necessary).
- Image quality
- Understanding color correction, gamma, detailing.
- Correct export settings for Instagram/TikTok.
- Preferably the ability to create a light “cinematic” effect where appropriate.
- Effects and transitions
- Effects and transitions should be tasteful, not overloaded.
- The visual style should be modern and clean.
- Subtitles are key
This is the point by which I will evaluate the most strictly.
I need super trendy, beautiful subtitles with effects and design, not basic templates.
If there are no examples of strong subtitles in your portfolio or only boring template options, please do not respond.
Requirements for candidates
- Experience specifically in quality short formats
Reels, TikTok, Shorts. I need work at the level of “premium creator”, not just cutting. - Preferred editors
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro
- (CapCut is acceptable only if you can really work professionally in it, creating non-standard and strong subtitles and effects)
- Understanding algorithms
Basic understanding of retention, pace, structure of the video, hooks. - Experience working with AI
- AI image generation.
- Real examples of AI integration in videos.
- Generating trendy videos through AI
- Working with graphics
- Background removal, compositing, careful integration of objects.
- Languages
- Basic English at a level without errors in simple words.
- Russian preferred for accurate subtitles without mistakes.
Important: if there are noticeable grammatical errors in the subtitles, I will cancel the deal. This is critical.
Work format
- I provide:
- source files/voiceover/materials
- 5-7 references
- examples of the desired style of subtitles and effects
- You provide:
- 1-2 draft versions (by agreement)
- final video (after payment)
- project source file upon request (after payment, mandatory)
Volume
This project includes 3 videos.
2 videos are almost identical (filmed in the same place at the same time). The total length of each is 40 seconds to a minute. They consist of 5-7 different shots. $20 per video ($40 for 2)
1 video is short, 20 seconds long, consisting of 2 shots. $10 for this video
If I am satisfied - +$5 tip
There are also 6 more videos and more will come in the future!
I plan for regular work.
If we work well together in terms of quality and style, I will continuously assign editing tasks.

P.S.: Please read everything written above carefully, if you have not previously created interesting, non-template subtitles - do not write. If the editing in your portfolio consists of ordinary cuts of videos where the work is just to cut and glue - DO NOT WRITE. If the final video is dry and ordinary - you will waste your time, I will not pay and do not plan to waste my time while you learn to create a quality product, the deal will be canceled, there will be no second or third attempts.
