Unity programmer for a detective visual novel
92 USD I, along with a small team, am developing a detective visual novel with quest elements about furries set in the early 20th century using the Unity engine (similar in gameplay and concept to Tangle Tower, The Crown of Leaves).
The technologies used include Dialogue System in conjunction with the program articy draft x. The planned platforms are PC, Android, and iOS.
The main plot skeleton is ready, the main character sprites are created, and a couple of background locations have been assembled into a very rough prototype, which is causing some delays in development (to avoid unnecessary work). It is necessary to refine the vertical slice of the game so that the main part of the team not directly involved in programming can continue working.
The tasks involve creating an interactive scene that will display correctly on both mobile and PC devices. The ability to change emotions, indicate who is speaking to whom, assign animations directly from articy draft x, update scenes, and link variables from there for import into Unity. Creating basic functional interface windows (menu, map, diary with information, achievements screen, save window). And some other minor tasks.
