Publication of iOS application (Unreal Engine + OAuth2, Apple Sign-In)

Technical Specification: Publishing iOS Application (Unreal Engine + OAuth2 Integration)

We require a specialist (or team) to help assemble, test, and publish our iOS application. The Android version is already ready — it will be provided for functionality verification.

🔧 List of Tasks:

1. Build and verify the finished application for iOS

   • Build the existing application (on Unreal Engine 5.4.4) for iOS.

   • Ensure that behavior and functionality fully match the Android version.

   • In case of discrepancies — eliminate differences.

2. Implement login via iCloud using OAuth2

   • Client-side (Unreal Engine 5.4.4):

     • Add a touch handler to the existing button (widget) that will invoke the iCloud login form.

     • Request the user's first name, last name, email, unique identifier, and JWT token signed by Apple.

     • Send all these data to our server.

     • Support "silent login" — on subsequent launches, the application should automatically obtain the JWT token if the user is already authorized.

     • Using a ready-made Unreal Engine plugin for login is permitted.

   • Server-side (Python + FastAPI):

     • Modify the current server logic to accept and verify the JWT token signed by Apple.

     • Upon successful verification — initiate the existing authorization procedure.

   • Other:

     • If necessary — register the application in Apple as an OAuth2 client.

     • No need to set up OAuth2 server connection with Apple — it is preferable to implement authorization entirely on the client side.

     • Login functionality should be tested with multiple iCloud accounts, including accounts with incomplete data (e.g., without first or last name).

3. Create and register a developer account in the App Store.

4. Fill out the app page in the App Store (description and materials will be provided).

5. Upload the built application to the App Store, go through moderation, and publish.
