Development of a photorealistic 3D project for a modular sauna 6.5x2.5m. Ongoing collaboration (5–10 projects/month)
Project Description
Brief essence of the task and perspective:
We are a steadily operating production of modular constructions. Due to the expansion of our product line and an increase in orders, we are looking for a professional 3D designer/visualizer for ongoing long-term collaboration.
Our volume: approximately 5–10 individual sauna and modular house projects per month. We are looking for a partner ready to work on a permanent basis at special wholesale prices per project.
⚠️ Important note on qualifications:
Ideally, we are looking for a "2 in 1" specialist who can provide both quality visualization and develop a working architectural project (AR/drawings for production). However, we understand that often these areas do not match in quality.
Therefore, our main task today is to obtain the most vivid, commercial, and photorealistic design project, which will make the client fall in love with the product and decide to purchase the sauna. The visualization must sell!
What needs to be done within the current test project:
- 3D modeling of the frame of the modular sauna 6.5x2.5m with all partitions according to the specifications.
- Realistic visualization of the exterior (appearance from different angles).
- Realistic visualization of the interior of all internal rooms (rest room, bathroom, steam room).
- Development of material textures, complex lighting (including LED backlighting).
📐 TECHNICAL ASSIGNMENT FOR THE DESIGNER
1. Main parameters and dimensions:
- Type of construction: Modular, frame-panel sauna (delivered to the site in a ready-made form).
- External dimensions: Length — 6500 mm, Width — 2500 mm, Height — 2850 mm.
- Roof shape: Single-pitched.
- Layout (3 zones): Steam room, bathroom, rest room. Partitions with doors separate these zones.
2. External finishing (Exterior):
- Cladding on 3 sides (rear and side): Metal click-fold (color Anthracite / RAL 7016).
- Main facade (front side): Natural wood — thermowood slats 35 mm. Painted in 2 layers Tikkurila (with a clearly visible noble wood texture).
- Windows and trims: Laminated in Anthracite color, trims should harmonize with the overall design.
3. Windows and doors (Exact location and characteristics):
- Panoramic windows: 2 pcs., size 1900 x 1900mm. Glass — tempered, 8 mm, with an impressive mirrored coating.
- Partially opening windows: 2 pcs., size 400 x1500 mm (vertical vents).
- Window in the bathroom: 1 pc., size 400 x400 mm (vent).
- Entrance door: 1 pc., size 2000 x 900 mm, metal-plastic, laminated in Anthracite color, mirrored glass.
- Door to the steam room: 1 pc., size 1900 x700 mm, glass, completely transparent (model Tesli RS).
- Door to the bathroom: 1 pc., size 1900 x 700 mm, frosted glass (or wooden with a latch).
4. Interior finishing and materials (Interior):
- Steam room:
- Walls and ceiling: Cladding — natural linden (natural color, transparent protective varnish).
- Benches (lying places): Made of linden, two-level.
- Lighting: Hidden LED backlighting under the benches and behind the backs.
- Stove area: Preparation for electric stove. Fire protection — magnesite slabs on the floor, Super Isol slabs and stainless steel screen on the walls (thermal protection up to 1100°C). Ventilation valves (alder) F-100 — 2 pcs.
- Rest room:
- Walls and ceiling: Cladding — linden.
- Floor: Installation of moisture-resistant laminate.
- Lighting: Modern track lights on the ceiling, sockets and switches in Anthracite color.
- Bathroom:
- Walls and floor: Combined finishing. Instead of wood — moisture-resistant base (CSP, moisture-resistant drywall) with subsequent installation of large-format ceramic tiles ($600 x 600$ mm). On the floor, tiles with a protective curb height of 6 cm.
- Sanitary equipment (to be reflected in the render): Toilet, shower tray, shower head with mixer, sink with faucet (washbasin), water heating boiler. Provide neat outputs for communications and a sanitary trap in the floor.
5. Requirements for visualization:
- Wow effect: The image should be "juicy" and realistic. The wood should look like natural wood with a pronounced grain pattern, the metal fold — with a stable matte sheen.
- Lighting: Set up daytime and evening scenarios. In the evening, track systems and hidden LED backlighting of the shelves in the steam room should work effectively.
- Environment: Place the sauna on a prepared concrete platform against a minimalist natural landscape (countryside plot, lawn, trees).
📋 REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES AND WORK PROCEDURE:
- Portfolio: Must have realistic interiors of saunas/baths or modern modular houses in the portfolio. Works at the level of "simple sketch" are not considered.
- Direct work with the client: Full compliance with their wishes considering the technical possibilities of sauna construction.
- Tools: Proficient in 3ds Max + Corona/V-Ray, Blender or similar professional software.
- Source files: Upon completion of the project, the contractor transfers a fully configured 3D scene with all textures + final renders (in a resolution of at least 4K).
In your response, please indicate:
- The cost of developing the current project (exterior + interior of 3 zones).
- Your cost for a similar project for wholesale orders (5–10 projects per month).
- Can you, in addition to visualization, create working drawings (architectural part)? If yes, attach a sample drawing.
- The deadlines for completing this task.
- Links to 2-3 of your best works on similar topics (wood, spa areas, modular houses).
The selected designer will immediately receive a link to our website with real photo and video materials so that you understand our product 100%.
