Leaving a positive review about the work of this freelancer is not possible. If I could have foreseen how the collaboration would unfold, I would never have worked with him under any circumstances. However, misled by exclusively positive reviews and an impressive portfolio, I decided to order a website from him. Now, looking back, I realize that it was a mistake. I am sure that many clients who have encountered this freelancer will recognize their experience in my review.
- Project deadlines: The initially agreed deadlines were 3-4 weeks. However, the project, with huge difficulties and constant delays, was completed only after 3+ months. This is absolutely unacceptable for a professional performer.
- Communication and quality of work: Each stage of the work was accompanied by endless problems. As a client, I had to remind several times about the same corrections, which were either ignored or poorly executed. In fact, I was forced to take on the role of a tester, spending a huge amount of time identifying obvious mistakes and shortcomings. The number of bugs and unfinished work was simply outrageous. Especially disheartening was the lack of attention to the responsiveness of the design — elements were displayed incorrectly on different screen resolutions, centering was disrupted, and the sizes of elements did not match each other. It created the impression that the freelancer was guided by the principle of "that'll do," which is absolutely unacceptable for a professional.
- Portfolio and reputation: Despite an impressive portfolio and numerous positive reviews, after my personal experience working with this freelancer, I have serious doubts that all the projects presented in his portfolio were actually completed by him personally.
- Cost and final result: The cost of the project (50,000 UAH) was comparable to the prices of professional studios, and I expected corresponding quality. However, instead, I received extended deadlines, a lack of basic testing and design skills, as well as a complete absence of perfectionism in the work. As a result, the project was completed in a raw state, and only thanks to my personal intervention was it brought to a more or less acceptable condition.
In conclusion, the freelancer offered to compensate for the deadline violation with free graphic revisions. However, after everything I went through, I see no point in continuing the collaboration. No free services can justify the level of unprofessionalism and negligence that I encountered. Very disappointed and highly do not recommend this performer.
