We are looking for a technical partner or engineering team to develop an automated defect detection system and optimize the cutting of valuable wood species (oak, ash).
Project composition:
1. Machine Vision: Automatic defect recognition (knots, cracks, sapwood) on the board using industrial cameras.
2. Optimization Algorithm: Building a cutting map based on AI that maximizes the value of the output product (taking into account grade, sizes, and current prices).
3. AR Projection: Visualization of the cutting map using a projector directly onto the surface of the board for the operator's work.
Project details:
• Location: Satu Mare, Romania.
• Technology stack: Computer Vision (OpenCV, YOLO), industrial automation, AR integration.
• Current status: We have a clear understanding of the technological process and are ready to provide datasets for training the neural network.
