We are looking for a hands-on QA Lead to own and structure QA across a 10-person engineering team, including 2 existing QA engineers. This person will also act as an internal technical point of contact for Customer Success and Product when investigating issues and bugs.

Deliverables

Design and maintain a clear QA process, including test phases, entry/exit criteria, and release readiness.
Define and communicate ownership for QA activities across developers, QA, and product, including who signs off on releases.
Be the primary internal contact for Customer Success and Product to reproduce, analyze, and prioritize reported issues and bugs.
Create and oversee test plans (manual and automated) per release, with a strong focus on core user journeys and high-impact issues.
Be hands-on with test design, execution, defect triage, and improving our regression suite.

Requirements

4–5+ years in software QA, with experience as a senior/lead QA or similar in product teams.
Must: past experience in development (Python, C, Java...), understanding of code.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and agile ways of working.
Proven experience bringing structure to QA and working closely with customer-facing teams on bugs and incidents.
Strong communication skills and willingness to be both strategic and very hands-on in a small, fast-moving team.
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) at a high professional level.
