I have been setting Enhanced E-commerce in Google Analytics for more than 4 years, the setting is done through GTM and in analytics.
You can, of course, put a plugin on the WP, but they are all paid, and in free versions the functionality is limited and cut.
The cost includes setting, checking and importing conversions (transactions) to Google Ads cabins.
