Shopify - Emporium theme
Task
It is necessary to fix the functionality of the customizer Easify Product Options on Shopify, because currently:
the customizer sometimes does not appear on the product page,
Live Preview (photo + text) works intermittently,
different product templates conflict,
one template breaks when you edit another.
Everything needs to be brought to a normal stable state.
What needs to be done
1. Understand the product templates
Check existing product templates (
default product,name-led-light, copies).Create new templates based on Default product, without broken code.
Ensure that each product can have its own template, without breaking others.
2. Properly integrate Easify into the necessary products
Add the app block to the necessary templates through Customize, without editing the code.
Ensure that the block does not disappear after refreshing the page/product.
Set up correct binding of option sets to products.
3. Set up Live Preview
For 2 products:
LED Name Light
LEGO Photo Frame
Set up:
photo upload + scaling,
text field (name),
layer positioning in Live Preview,
so that everything displays over the layout, does not break the gallery, and does not fall down the page.
4. Fix selectors (if needed)
Check target selectors in Easify:
product form
media wrapper
add to cart
Fix only if the Emporium theme requires explicit instructions.
5. Check stability
Ensure that everything works:
on desktop and mobile,
upon first opening of the page,
in cart drawer / cart page (at least correct data transfer).
Result
After the work, I should have:
a working template for the LED product,
a working template for the LEGO product,
a working Default product,
a normal stable Easify customizer,
the ability to create new products without breaking the theme.
