I want to thank Nikita for his work on Stage 2B.
During the project, it noticeably evolved from a standard calculation model into a full-fledged analytical platform for evaluating PV+BESS projects.
I would especially like to highlight a few points.
Firstly, Nikita did not limit himself to implementing the initial technical specifications. During discussions, he was open to professional dialogue and gradually refined the model's architecture when it became clear that certain solutions could be made more universal and scalable.
Secondly, in Stage 2B, we managed to implement truly important architectural elements: a universal scenario approach, support for various equipment configurations, development of topology-aware logic, more flexible handling of different types of projects, and a foundation for further model expansion without rewriting the core.
I would also like to note Nikita's willingness to discuss technical details. Many solutions were born precisely from the joint analysis of real commercial cases, rather than solely based on the initial technical assignment. Thanks to this, the model became significantly closer to a practical tool for engineering and investment analysis.
At the same time, the work was not limited to programming. Essentially, it was a collaborative architectural development of the product, where the logic of calculations, financial model, energy system constraints, operational scenarios, report structure, and ease of further use were discussed.
Of course, during the final audit, some comments were identified, mainly related not to the calculation core, but to the architecture of data presentation, report structure, and the clarity of results. This is a normal part of the process of creating a complex analytical product, and most comments pertain specifically to the development of the reporting interface, rather than the quality of the calculation engine.
Overall, I believe that Stage 2B has made a significant step forward compared to previous versions of the model. The project has gained a more mature architecture, significantly expanded functionality, and created a solid foundation for further development in subsequent stages.
