Technical assignment for creating a Telegram bot with payment through Telegram Stars

Project Description:

It is necessary to create a Telegram bot that will process payments through Telegram Stars. The bot will use the star system to receive payments from users and also provide functionality for unblocking users after successful payment.

Requirements:

    1. Main functionality of the bot:

    • The bot must respond to the /start command by sending a welcome message to the user.

    • In response to the /start command, the user should be offered a button “Pay for Unblocking,” which will lead to the next stage — payment using Telegram Stars.

    • After clicking the “Pay for Unblocking” button, the bot should provide information about the cost of unblocking in Stars and request payment from the user through the Telegram Stars mechanism.

    2. Payment system through Telegram Stars:

    • The bot must integrate the Telegram Stars system for receiving payments.

    • After the user makes a payment in Stars, the bot should automatically check that the payment has been received and the user will be granted access to “unblocking.”

    • The cost of unblocking in Stars should be predetermined (for example, 1000 Stars).

    • The bot must track the success of the payment and confirm the completion of the operation to the user.

    3. Payment process:

    • The bot must inform the user how many stars are needed for payment (for example, 1000 Stars).

    • After making the payment, the user should receive a message that the unblocking was successful.

    • If the number of Stars does not match the required amount, the bot should send a warning message and request payment of the correct amount.

    4. Functionality for administrators:

    • The bot must have a special menu for administrators.

    • Administrators should be able to track users who have paid for unblocking and manage their statuses.

    • The administrator should be able to unblock users manually.

    5. Notification system:

    • After a successful transfer of Stars, the user should receive a confirmation message that the unblocking has been completed.

    • The bot should send a notification to the administrator about the completion of the payment and the successful unblocking of the user.

    6. Security:

    • All data must be protected, including user and transaction data.

    • All requests and actions must be checked for user rights, especially for administrators.

    7. Implementation details:

    • Use Telegram Bot API for bot development.

    • For interaction with the Telegram Stars system, use appropriate API mechanisms (if provided).

    • Store user data (ID, status) in a JSON database.

    • Handle errors when payments do not match (for example, insufficient Stars) and notify the user of payment issues.

    8. Hosting:

    • The bot must be hosted on a server that supports Python.

    • Instructions for deploying and configuring the bot on the server are required.

Deadlines:

    • Development and testing of functionality — 1-2 days.

    • Review and final configuration — 1-2 days.

Freelancer Requirements:

    • Experience in developing Telegram bots with payment system integration, particularly with Telegram Stars.

    • Experience working with libraries for Telegram API on Python (for example, python-telegram-bot).

    • Knowledge of security to protect data and users.

Additional Wishes:

    • After completing the development, the freelancer should provide instructions for deploying and configuring the bot.
