🧠 About the project

We are launching a new physical product in the category of emotional albums and photo quests (Memory Charms).

This includes:

• mini-albums with tasks and photo windows
• core-albums (large collectible)
• AR cards and souvenir printing

The project is aimed at:

• schools
• weddings
• museums / zoos
• gift market

At the start — MVP, then scaling to Europe and the USA.

🎯 Specialist's goal

We need an experienced printing technology specialist who:

• will help design physical albums
• will select optimal materials and constructions
• will find production (Turkey is a priority)
• will achieve the best cost price without losing quality

🛠 Main tasks

1️⃣ Development of album constructions

Need help with:

• album formats (mini / core / master)
• type of binding
• cut-outs / photo windows
• pockets, slots, fastenings
• optimization of thickness and weight

📌 Important:

Albums are not classic photo books, but modular albums with photo windows.

2️⃣ Material selection

Select and compare:

• types of paper (density, texture)
• cardboard / covers
• lamination options
• options for cost reduction without losing premium appearance

3️⃣ Search and communication with printing houses (Turkey)

Need to:

• find 3–5 relevant printing houses in Turkey
• request commercial offers
• compare:
  • prices
  • minimum print runs
  • timelines
  • cutting and customization options
• assist in preparing the technical specifications for production

📌 Experience working with Turkey is a big plus.

4️⃣ Cost price and optimization

In the end, we want to understand:

• the cost price of one mini-album
• the cost price of a core-album
• points of optimization when increasing the print run
• how the price changes when scaling

🧩 What we already have on our side

• product concept
• market understanding and volumes
• visual examples and references
• clear understanding of MVP
• constant communication with the founder

👤 Candidate requirements

Mandatory:

• experience in printing / printing houses for at least 3 years
• understanding of bindings, paper, cutting
• experience working with productions

Desirable:

• experience working with Turkey or Asia
• experience launching new products (not just printing business cards)
• ability to think in terms of cost price and scaling

📦 Work result (what we want to achieve)

• recommendations on album constructions
• 2–3 optimal production options
• real cost calculations
• contacts of printing houses
• understanding how to launch the MVP print run

💰 Payment

• to be discussed (fixed +/or by stages)
• willing to pay for real results, not by hours
