I’ve already done this bot. You will need a server (VPS) that will run a 24/7. VPS prices - from $1, you get into the Google "buy VPS" and then you already choose which one will like. The characteristics of the server can be minimal, the bot is not demanding to resources. It is preferable for Ubuntu.
I do it today. The server is free.
I write on Python + Telethon.
