INTRODUCTION: I am looking for a remote assistant for a car dealer (or a reseller, as we say) to work with the American market in the USA.
Currently part-time (2-4 hours a day) with a flexible schedule. Full-time potential. Salary to be discussed. There is room for growth.
TASKS:
- Market analysis: at any given moment, we need to understand how much a particular car costs.
- Searching for interesting offers: we are constantly looking for what can be bought, selecting good options.
- Correspondence with sellers and buyers: we find out details, negotiate, schedule viewings, answer questions.
- Working with our sales listings.
- Research on specific models: if a good option pops up and there isn't enough information about it - you need to Google what problems to look for and where to check.
For example, if there is an M272 engine (Mercedes), you need to check with an endoscope because of potential scratches. Plus, there are issues with the balance shaft up to 2007. So either refrain from buying or look extremely carefully.
These are the kinds of things you will need to know, and if you don't know, you should quickly Google and get oriented.
REQUIREMENTS
- Male. Sometimes, of course, there are lady drivers, but this is more of an exception. If you are a lady but feel this is for you - write, maybe it will work out.
- Car enthusiast. Obviously, but still. If you love and know cars. If you scroll through Auto Ria or Drive2 instead of Instagram while sitting on the toilet, then we will get along. Be sure to write.
- Written English. Basic is okay, but if we get along, you will need to learn as there will be a lot of communication.
- Communication skills. Not the standard from a resume, but real ones. Because the main task lies in communication. We buy cars from people and sell to people, so this is important.
- Healthy self-confidence. If we are indecisive, we won't buy anything worthwhile or sell anything profitably.

As you can see, the requirements are reasonable. You are an assistant, so there are no expectations that you are super skilled. But enthusiasm, sparkle in your eyes, and determination must be present; without them, it won't work. I will teach you everything, show you, tell you, and support you.
