С бекендом можно работать по API, с фронт эндом на шаблонизаторе от Ruby, который называется liquid template language.
Для решения экстраординарных задач, пишем свой модулю на любом языке и интегрируем его в Shopify App Store или непосредственно в магазин клиента. -
