Video editing of a complex travel video for YouTube. If you don't know how complicated travel videos can be, just watch any episode of Eagle and Tails or something similar. =)
Interested in long-term cooperation. One video approximately 45 minutes once a month.
The client provides:
- video files sorted by sections, video stabilization done with AI assistance, proxy files created, stock footage downloaded (in total, all copies and variations of the video are about 1000GB, of which about 200 are mandatory, the rest is optional)
- text/script indicating sections
- audio narration of the text
- necessary software/plugins
- project template, samples of effects and transitions
- very clear technical specifications for editing
- the beginning of the video already edited as an example of editing
In fact, the main part of the work is: correctly selecting the necessary shot and placing it on the timeline to match the corresponding beat of the music or phrase in the text.
The freelancer is required to:
- edit the final video to 35 minutes 4k - 30fps.
In detail:
- review and select the best shots
- choose music from epidemic sound and/or artlist
- find missing graphics, shots, maps, sounds, etc. from stock
- apply creative techniques and transitions in editing
- color grading
- sound design (an important element for this video)
- project editing (changing shots approximately every 5-10 seconds)
- coordinate and refine the final video with the client at the level of the premiere project
- render a preview of the video
Requirements for the freelancer:
- portfolio of 10+ videos
- knowledge of Adobe Premiere / After Effects
- powerful PC for working with heavy projects
- desire to creatively and qualitatively perform the editing. Quality should be prioritized over speed
- clear understanding of the cost per minute of completed video for regular cooperation
