We are looking for a 2D Visual Artist to develop the visual style of the arcade game Golf Crash. This is a 2D side-scrolling arcade game primarily aimed at mobile devices, so readability, vibrant style, and clear shapes are important.
Main Tasks
• Create a bright and memorable visual style for the game
• Develop 3–5 unique characters with different body types, styles, and animations
• Create several themed worlds:
• classic golf course
• desert canyon
• candy world
• urban rooftops
• Develop environments and obstacles (water, sand, rocks, hills, etc.)
• Create NPC characters (for example, a bird that can steal the ball in flight, and a mole that can steal the ball before the hit)
• Design several types of balls (regular, fire, energy)
• Prepare assets for game events: hit, ball flight, fail scenarios, bonus modes
• Prepare clean and readable assets optimized for mobile screens
Style Requirements
• Clear silhouettes and high contrast for small screens
• Simple shapes without unnecessary details
• All worlds should feel like part of one game universe
• All assets should be ready for animation
Additional
The game includes bonus modes with separate visual styles, for example:
• a course in the atmosphere of a sunset
• space course with neon elements and depth of space
