Traffic visualization with "PPC impact" in Looker Studio

Hello!

We are looking for a Looker Studio specialist to set up a specific traffic visualization in our existing reports. We need a chart that will display overall session data from different sources, but with a unique overlay that reflects our manual input of "PPC influence" on each channel.

Project Goal

Create in Looker Studio a stacked bar/column chart that clearly visualizes:

1. Total number of sessions by standard Google Analytics channels (for example, Organic Search, Direct, Social, Paid Search, etc.).

2. Within each channel's column – a defined portion of sessions representing "PPC influence". This percentage will be entered manually for each channel.

Key requirements

• Data source: Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Our report in Looker Studio is already connected to our GA4 resource.

• Chart type: Stacked bar or stacked column chart configured to use two custom metrics (one as the base, the other as the overlay).

• Styling: The finished chart should have clear, contrasting colors for the "PPC Influenced" and "Non-PPC Influenced" parts of each column.

Result

A fully configured and functional stacked bar chart with overlay data in our Looker Studio report, visually separating "PPC Influenced Sessions" from "Non-PPC Influenced Sessions" for each traffic channel, based on our manually provided percentages. This report can also be used in all reports within Looker Studio.
