Book layout for Amazon KDP in formats Paperback, Hardcover (pdf) and Reflowable (ePub)
Friends, hello everyone, there is work to be done.
An experienced book formatting specialist is required. Estimated parameters:
— 120 thousand words
— 580 thousand characters without spaces
— 690 thousand characters with spaces
— 8.5x11 inches
Publication on Amazon KDP is planned, so only specialists who have experience and understand all formatting requirements for each of the formats will be considered.
Requirements:
— Experience with Kindle Create, InDesign, etc.
— Knowledge of all technical nuances of Amazon: margins, sizes, fonts, line spacing, numbering, table of contents, indents, etc.
— An original, creative design style is welcome.
— Links or examples of already published works on Amazon.
— Adherence to deadlines that you specify yourself.
— Communicability (as it is necessary to agree on the overall style).
What needs to be done:
— Formatting the book for Kindle, reflowable format.
— Formatting for Paperback, 8.5x11 inches format.
— Formatting for Hardcover, 8.5x11 inches format.
— Providing final approved files in formats that meet Amazon's requirements (PDF, ePub, MOBI).
Additionally:
— About a dozen illustrations will be added to the text, but they are not available yet. They will appear during the formatting process. We mention this right away to avoid it looking like a change in the scope of work;
— One of the top priorities is to determine the approximate number of pages (needed for creating the cover).
