The main reason is that even now I see some mistakes that beginners developers make (e.g. the appearance of colorpicker, the impossibility of adding an image, etc.). And most likely there and inside, there is no possibility for the future expansion of the platform. If you turn off I suggest on the front React or Vue, on the Laravel back (you need to look at the code, but probably it's also better from zero to do, the problem with the impossibility of saving the image 90% that on the back)
