Position Description: Web Designer - US Market

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Designer to join our dynamic team focused on developing innovative web applications and products for the US market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites for various industries, with a focus on creating efficient, high-quality designs. As a Web Designer, you will collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional web experiences that meet and exceed our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly, and engaging websites for various industries and clients in the US market
Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional web designs
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas to the team and stakeholders
Utilize your knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and best practices to create aesthetically pleasing and accessible designs
Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes
Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and tools to ensure our websites remain competitive in the market
Participate in an agile development process, contributing ideas and working collaboratively with team members
Demonstrate ownership and entrepreneurial qualities in the projects you work on, with a focus on simplicity and quality in all aspects of your work

Requirements:

3+ years of proven experience in web design, preferably for various industries and clients in the US market
A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and a general understanding of frontend development technologies and principles
Strong understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, and accessibility best practices
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within an agile team
A high degree of flexibility, an open mindset, and the ability to iterate quickly
A strong focus on simplicity and quality in your work
