There are small projects - developing websites on WordPress (layout of custom templates, customization of plugins), support for projects on Laravel. The work is piecework, we evaluate the project and sometimes we can settle by hours, as we agree.
We need a person who will be actively involved in the work - so that it is easy to call, share the screen, explain what needs to be done or fixed, and quickly fix something on the go. Good, easy communication is important.
It is also important that the specialist executes the project as it is drawn in Figma - ideally, they should be able to replicate what the designer envisioned. A common problem is when a developer says - I did everything as in the design, but in reality, much is not right, and they do not understand the difference between their work and the prototype in Figma. I will not explain the obvious; the person should be able to distinguish and notice the differences themselves.
It is also important to have a good taste for design - sometimes it is necessary to quickly assemble a landing page on a template without a ready design in Figma and based on the client's materials. One needs to understand what fonts to use, that there shouldn't be five different types on the page, what images to find in stock related to the theme, how to format the text for readability, and that red text on a green background will not look good at all.
In general, we need an adequate specialist who can support and develop websites/landing pages and do a little bit of design.
