hello 🙂
task:
edit a video for YouTube (up to 10 minutes), considering the corporate style and current design aesthetics
video format: "talking head"
suggest animated effects, try something new specifically in terms of editing, but it is important not to deviate from the corporate style
for example
speaker's caption, we currently use a simple image, but we would like to animate it so that, for example, a line comes from a dot
or how the banners appear - we can add some more interesting effects, rather than just having the banner slide in from the side
we have:
- raw video
- brand guideline
- script plan
- YouTube channel with published videos to refer to
- detailed project brief in Google Docs
- access to corporate elements, intro, final credits, etc.
additional info:
we have 4 YouTube channels, which we have been managing since 2018
we release videos 1-2 times a week on each channel, so editing a video is not a one-time event, but a long-term work perspective. it is important to consider this when pricing, as well as in terms of available time)
when responding to the project, please provide examples of editing in the format of "talking head" and using some effects (if available)
I will answer all questions in private, and provide links to YouTube channels, etc.
questions before editing:
which program do you use for editing?
can animated templates of the corporate elements we use in the videos be created for further adjustments? because if it is an image created by our designer (as it is now) - we have a problem that during editing they get distorted, stretched/cropped/template animated and it ends up looking “crooked”, we deviate from the established norms in the guideline
