Brief about the vacancy
Looking for an editor for a gaming YouTube channel.
The job involves independent editing without frame-by-frame briefs, with an understanding of the gaming context (knowledge of the mechanics of Dead by Daylight is a plus). Editing is seen as a tool for channel retention and growth, not just a technical assembly of videos.
1. General information about the project
Channel: Kikimora_X
Theme: gaming content
Channel status: beginner, focused on growth and regular releases.
Editing goals:
increase viewer retention
make the content visually professional
prepare the format for long-term scaling
Editing is considered a tool for channel growth, not just a technical assembly of videos.
2. Video formats
Format 1 — Dead by Daylight
guides
tutorial breakdowns of mechanics
game situations, timings, examples

This is the minimum acceptable quality level. The editing was done by me independently.
Expectation — editing should be no worse, but better in cleanliness, readability, logic, and work with effects/transitions.
Requirement:
The editor must understand Dead by Daylight, including:
This is critical for correct visual accents and selection of game moments.
Video length: 7–15 minutes.
Format 2 — other games
Requirement:

Video length: 3–15 minutes (depends on the game and topic).
3. Materials and process
From me:
script
voiceover (my voice)
game footage
If there is a lack of material during the editing process — let me know immediately, I will shoot more.
From you:
independently build the visual narrative
edit according to the meaning of the script and speech
not require frame-by-frame instructions
I do not specify timestamps and specific clips for each second of the video.
4. Work format
Start of cooperation:
first, we make 1 trial video. If the result satisfies both parties — we move on to regular work.
Frequency: on average 1–2 full videos per month. Shorts and TikToks may be possible later.
Deadlines: there are no strict deadlines. The expected editing time is up to 1 week from the moment of receiving all materials.
Revisions: the format of revisions is discussed individually.
At the start, more revisions are allowed — this is normal while we establish a common understanding of style and expectations.
Afterward, the number of revisions decreases as we adjust.
Preview (thumbnail):
included in the cost and made in a unified style of the channel, style development is possible
5. Important
Looking for an editor who:
understands games
can listen and perceive feedback
works for the result of the channel, not just for the formal execution of the brief
If a frame-by-frame timeline or explanation of each step is required — this format of cooperation is not suitable.
