Защита VPS от атак и ботов

У меня стоит виртуадьный сервер ubuntu 12 с Magento 1.8
Каждый момент на нем сидят около 700-1000 всяких ботов и прочих мелких хакеров. У меня хороший фаевол, но порты 80 и 443 всегда открыты. Я борюсь с этими "друзьями" только при помощи .htaccess но это не эффективо, список растет и растет. бывают моменты когда на моем вебсайте сидят до 2000 искателей дырок
Если есть у тебя решение как ограничить доступ нежелательных гостей и также по странам буду благодарен.
Также хотелось бы иметь возможность автоматического sleep and wake up cron script для моего сервера.
Предлагаю 20 тыс руб, они у меня уже в сейфе.
