We worked on refining the online store on WooCommerce before the launch. As part of the project, a complete set of tasks was implemented:
Variable products — correct display of names in the select (not slug), change of price, photo, and availability status when selecting a variation, unavailability of variations without stock, limitation of quantity based on stock at the "+" button level.
Add to cart — for simple products, the "Buy" button adds the product without navigating to the page; for variable products, the product card opens on the first click. The mini cart updates without reloading the page, and repeated clicking on "Buy" increases the quantity of the product.
Catalog — 4 products in a row, 24 products per page, settings for these parameters through the WooCommerce admin panel. A short description of the product is displayed in the catalog card based on the standard WooCommerce field (post_excerpt), as well as in full on the product page.
"Stickers" page — grouping of products by themes through the "Theme" attribute, sticky block with navigation buttons, scrolling to the corresponding section when clicked, automatic appearance of new themes when added through the admin panel, managing the order of themes through dragging attribute terms — without involving a developer.
Button names — aligned with the catalog structure: "Choose color" for categories with color variations, "View all models" and "View all" for the corresponding levels of the catalog. All messages and texts in Ukrainian.
Regarding collaboration — the client was responsible, always in touch, provided specific feedback with examples, screenshots, and videos, which significantly simplified the work. During the process, the volume of tasks significantly expanded compared to the initial terms of reference, but all issues were resolved constructively. I recommend.
