Anatomy of the Shadow Business: Analysis of Darknet Marketplace Structures
Documentary video analysis of the structure of illegal business empires online. The goal of the project is to show the technical and logistical underpinnings of marketplace operations (Mega, Kraken, etc.) without propaganda, in the format of an educational investigation.
During the work on the project, the following was implemented:
Complex motion design: Development of animated interaction schemes (Supplier — Operator — Courier — Client) to visualize complex chains.
Associative array: Selection of video footage that illustrates dangerous themes while adhering to YouTube community guidelines (Safety Guidelines).
Sound design: Creation of a tense atmosphere using Cinematic SFX (sounds of sirens, glitches, low-frequency rumbles).
Rhythmic editing: Dynamic cuts under the voiceover to maintain a high audience retention rate throughout 9 minutes.
The video demonstrates skills in working with complex narratives and the ability to visualize abstract business processes in an engaging form.
