ArchiCAD frame of modular MAF - spatial load-bearing system

This project represents an engineering-precise spatial system of a load-bearing frame for small architectural forms, designed for transportation in an assembled or enlarged modular form while maintaining geometric stability and structural reliability.

The solution is based on a spatially closed force circuit, in which the metal frame acts as the main load-bearing core, absorbing operational, wind, assembly, and transportation loads. The lower frame, posts, upper belt, roofing part, diagonal ties, and node reinforcements are combined into a single rigid system.

The calculation logic is based on classical principles of material resistance, taking into account deflections, bending moments, axial forces, stability of sections, manufacturability, and a rational ratio of strength to metal consumption.

The wooden infill is developed as a secondary structural subsystem, forming the basis of the floor, walls, and roof for further insulation and finishing, while simultaneously providing ease of assembly, distribution of local loads, and integrity of the combined scheme.

As a result, a balanced system is formed, where the steel frame provides spatial rigidity, and the wooden infill complements the structure as a rational assembly and finishing base. This solution combines strength, manufacturability, transport adaptability, and architectural integrity, which is particularly relevant for modern modular small architectural forms.
