Banner, consecrated in battles
On the occasion of the Day of the State Flag and Independence Day, we present to you a video about the defenders of Ukraine from various historical periods.
In the video, you can see:
A knight of the Podolian banner from the period of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (early 15th century);
A city Cossack of the Vinnytsia regiment from the period of the Khmelnytsky Uprising (mid-17th century);
A gunner of the Ukrainian People's Army from the period of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921;
A soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The filming involved: member of the historical reconstruction club "Arkona" Vladislav Shapron; member of the military-historical reconstruction society "Pecherska Sotnia" Levko Tkach; reconstructor of the Vinnytsia Historical Society Vyacheslav Zalewski; veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian War Yevhen "Apostol" Isaiev.
