Block Destroy — mobile arcade on Unity (Android, Google Play)
Block Destroy — my original mobile arcade game in the brick breaker / arkanoid genre, developed from scratch in Unity (C#) and published on Google Play.
Project Idea
To create a cozy, relaxing game in the spirit of classic arkanoid, but with a modern twist — featuring a combo system, progression, customization, and fair monetization without aggressive advertising.
Gameplay
• Intuitive one-finger controls: swipe — aim — release to shoot
• Realistic ball bounce physics
• Combo system up to x10 for maximum score accumulation
• Gradually increasing difficulty levels — the game keeps you engaged
• Works offline — play anywhere
Game Systems
• 10+ types of blocks with varying durability + special blocks that add balls
• Level and experience system, unlocking new content as you progress
• 10+ unique ball skins and a set of profile avatars
• In-game economy: coins, gems, unlockable by watching ads
• Local leaderboards and statistics (high scores, nickname, country flag)
• Fair in-game purchases (gem packs from 30 to 2000)
What has been implemented
• Complete game cycle from scratch: gameplay, UI/UX, menus, settings
• Ball physics and interaction with blocks
• Progress, statistics, and customization saving system
• Integration of Google Play Services, ads, and in-app purchases
• Preparation of icons, screenshots, store description, and publication on Google Play
• Compliance with Google Play requirements (rating 3+, Data Safety, privacy policy)
Tech Stack
Unity, C#, 2D development, Google Play Console, Google AdMob, IAP, ReportLab for generating icons and assets.
Result
• 5.0 ★ rating on Google Play
• Stable gameplay, smooth physics, and clear progression
