Case for promoting an online wallpaper store in Dnipro
Client: mono-brand online store "Vinil" with a wide range of vinyl and paper wallpapers of its own production.
Region: Dnipro, Ukraine. Supply throughout Ukraine.
Promotion period: 15 years.
Goals
Increase organic traffic to the site primarily through transactional queries to grow conversions.
Implemented measures
Technical audit of the site: basic technical optimization points were considered at the development stage, meaning there was an opportunity to focus efforts on optimizing Core Web Vitals metrics.
Creating an attractive snippet to improve visual perception in search results and increase CTR.
Expanding the semantic core using filter pages. This allowed for a broad semantic coverage of queries and improved indexing for low-frequency queries.
Stable filling of the site with unique content.
Optimization for regional queries, considering the location of production and the main target audience.
Formation of a link strategy, analysis of the client's profile, identification of target pages, determining parameters for searching platforms for placement; placement and validation of links. To effectively address the tasks at hand, we chose the method of placing guest articles on thematic sites, as well as on media sites and city portals. During the promotion, we managed to set a positive dynamic for the link profile, create the right anchor list, and increase DR from 4 to 13 according to Ahrefs, with the total number of donor domains increasing from 70 to 245.
Internal linking to transfer internal weight to promoted pages and accelerate the indexing of new ones.
Improvements aimed at enhancing user experience through companion wallpapers.
Results
Increase in organic traffic by 6 times.
Growth in the number of key queries in TOP-10 from 267 to 771. The increase in visibility became one of the drivers of steady growth in site visits.
Increase in indexed pages of the site by 46.5%.
Achieving planned conversion metrics in 9 months instead of 12.
Conclusions
Achieving positive results in promoting the online store "Vinil" was made possible by the effective interaction of all participants in the process. The SEO department specialists conducted a deep analysis of the website, studied the competitive environment, and developed a promotion strategy. The "Vinil" team demonstrated high engagement and readiness for cooperation. They carefully listened to the recommendations of SEO specialists and timely implemented the necessary changes on their website.
