Case of SEO promotion for an online store in the furniture hardware niche

Client: A large online furniture hardware store with a presence in physical stores across Ukraine.
Task: Increase visibility and attract more target audience through improving search engine rankings.
Strategy:
Technical audit and website optimization: Conducted a thorough analysis of the website and identified key areas for improvement. This included technical requirements (implementation of redirects, proper settings for language versions, loading speed, URL structure, mobile optimization), content strategy (updating and optimizing meta tags, improving content quality) and creating quality backlinks.

Keywords and content: Conducted in-depth keyword research targeting search queries that potential customers might use to find furniture hardware. Developed a content marketing strategy to create and optimize content according to these keywords.

Local SEO: Considering that the company has physical stores across Ukraine, we also focused on local SEO. This included creating a separate version of the site structure for cities that users include in their search queries, as well as recommendations for creating and optimizing Google Maps profiles, registration in local directories, and active participation in local communities.
Results:
Increase in indexed pages: After optimization, the number of indexed pages on the site increased from 7,000 to 12,000, indicating a significant improvement in content visibility for search engines.

Growth in keyword rankings: Thanks to the processed categories and content optimization, the site rose in search engine rankings for many keywords related to furniture hardware, increasing its visibility in organic search. Expanded the semantic core by +9929 keywords. All attention was focused on Ukrainian-language queries.

Increase in organic traffic: As a result of successful SEO optimization, organic traffic to the site for priority areas increased by 37%, which is a significant achievement and indicates the effectiveness of the applied strategy.

Increase in orders through the site: Due to the increase in organic traffic and improved search engine rankings, the number of orders through the site also significantly increased, leading to higher conversion rates and overall sales volume.
Conclusions:
This project demonstrates the significance of SEO optimization for online stores, especially in a competitive niche such as furniture hardware. Through a comprehensive approach to SEO and active implementation of content marketing and local SEO strategies, we were able to achieve a significant increase in visibility and traffic, resulting in an increase in orders and overall business growth.
