A cover for a single

The task was to create a cover for a witch-themed single featuring a character from Ukrainian mythology. I was provided with a text from which I took some details, but my main thoughts came from the character of Baba Yaga, who is
an intermediary between the world of the living and the dead. So I imagined a man figure in between two hands. I added a red moon which is in the lyrics, and red berries like ‘berries of the sheep’ which are poisonous. Also I drew bushes with birds to show it is happening in the wood and ravens like witches birds and inhabitants of the wood where the events described in the song take place.
After the sketch was approved I finished the art with shadows and adding the handwritten title of the song and a band name.
