Creation and setup of an E-commerce site on Shopify
Main project goal:
Launch a new online store for selling designer dog collars in the Netherlands market. Create an attractive, fully functional, and tailored platform to ensure convenient shopping.
My role and completed tasks:
As a Shopify development specialist, I was responsible for the final setup of functionality and user interface based on the template provided by the client:
Complete theme setup (Theme Setup & Customization):
Installation and configuration of the chosen Shopify theme.
Setting up the catalog structure, product pages, cart, and checkout process.
Styling the homepage and key elements according to the brand style.
Responsive layout and mobile optimization (Mobile Responsiveness):
Ensuring perfect display of the site on all devices (smartphones, tablets, desktops). Key focus: ease of browsing the catalog and placing orders from mobile devices.
Localization and translation:
Setting up language versions of the site. Implementing a complete and high-quality translation of the interface and content into Dutch, in addition to the primary (English), which is critically important for the target market.
Final launch:
Preparing the site for launch, checking all functional elements before handing over the project to the client.

Platform: Shopify
Tools: Built-in Shopify theme editor, HTML/CSS (for styling).
Result for the client:
The client received a fully ready, beautiful, and modern online store that meets all E-commerce standards and is ready to enter the European market. The site has a professional appearance and guarantees a positive experience for end users on any device.
