# Business Atlas (BA²) — CRM and operational platform for the team
## Project Description
Business Atlas is an internal web platform that combines CRM, project and task management, a gamified motivation system, financial accounting, a content blog, and live chat from the website in one workspace. It is designed for the daily work of the team, where the manager and employees use a single tool in various roles.
## Task
The team's work was scattered across a dozen services: tasks separately, leads separately, finances in spreadsheets, communication with clients in messengers. There was a lack of a unified picture of "who is doing what today," transparent rules for evaluating work, and connections between tasks, clients, and projects. The goal is to consolidate everything into one system with transparent, calculated logic.
## Implemented Modules
Today — the central hub of the day: a queue of personal and team tasks, sorted by priority and deadlines, with quick addition and filtering by type.
CRM — companies, contacts, and deals with a sales funnel in kanban format, deal cards with budget, source, responsible person, and history; automatic lead acquisition from external sources.
Projects and tasks — task boards, linking to clients and projects, priorities, deadlines, executors, and approval stage by the manager.
Gamification — a transparent points system with separate accounting of efforts and results, levels, badges, and a leaderboard; points are automatically calculated on the database side without hidden multipliers.
Roles and impersonation — switching between the roles of employee and manager, the ability to assign tasks on behalf of an employee with project and priority selection.
Finances — accounting for transactions, invoices, categories, and bills.
Communications — live operator chat website-CRM in real-time, content blog with SEO editor, notification system in the app and browser push.
## Technologies
Frontend on Vite and React 18 with TypeScript, Tailwind, Framer Motion, and Radix UI. Backend and data on Supabase (Postgres) with access control through Row-Level Security and business logic in database triggers. Real-time updates via Supabase Realtime. Hosting and automatic deployment on Vercel. A custom REST API with OpenAPI documentation for integrations with external services and automations on n8n is built on top of the database.
## Result
The team works in one window — from the first lead to the issued invoice. The manager sees a transparent picture of workload and results, while employees receive a clear list for the day and understandable rules for points allocation. The modular architecture allows for scaling the system and changing components without rewriting the entire product.
