Design of caligraphic fonts
The client:
The Art Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design. by M. Boychuk.
The project:
Design of caligraphic fonts
The task:
The fonts are designed to attract and develop the interest of higher education students in the culture of caligraphy. Develop a series of caligraphic fonts and compose 2 letters on a list. There should be bright and dynamic posters with the aquarella effect.
The Decision:
The writing was done manually. This requires such materials: paper with texture, a colored shell and a wide graphic pen.
On each poster are involved different colors, which are divided over the years. The composition became bright and dynamic due to smooth transitions in tonality and courageous flow of paint. In order to diversify and revive the font, the letters are written with a thin graphic pen - the theme of historical information on each letter separately.
