Design of a souvenir medal for the Ice Trail 2019 run

Ice Trail 2019 — medal for trail running within the Ukrainian Trail League
This medal is part of a designer series of awards for the Ukrainian Trail League, created specifically for the ICE TRAIL 2019 trail run, which took place in the Mіzrichіnskyi Regional Landscape Park — one of the largest natural areas in Ukraine.

Design idea
At the center of the composition is a stylized pine trunk, symbolizing the magical atmosphere of the pine forests of Mіzrichіe. Although the pine is not a rare plant, its majestic presence in the area creates a unique natural aura, which I aimed to convey through shape, texture, and details.

My role in the project:

- Creating a unique concept and design for the medal
- Preparing vector drawings in ArchiCAD
- Developing color coding according to RAL standards (metal, enamel)
- Designing the ribbon
- Formulating technical specifications for production
- Quality control of the batch manufacturing

Materials and production
The medal is made of cast metal with glossy and matte details. RAL enamel was used for precise reproduction of the color palette.

The project was implemented as part of my long-term collaboration with the Ukrainian Trail League.
This is an example of product design that combines the emotional power of nature, event symbolism, and technical accuracy of execution.
