Client: Ukrainian Trail League
Role: Designer, constructor, producer of manufacturing
This is one of four medals created for the Ukrainian Trail League trail running series. For each medal, I developed a unique concept — an image of Ukraine's Red Book, specifically — plants that grow in the trail locations.
In this case — it is the Red Ruta (Eastern Rhododendron), which grows on the Chornohora Ridge, where the Chornohora Sky Marathon takes place.
What I did:
- Developed an original medal design considering the event's theme, style, and local flora.
- Prepared vector technical documentation in ArchiCAD — drawings for production.
- Created ribbon design and selected color palette (RAL codes, enamels, patination).
- Prepared a complete technical assignment for manufacturing.
- Ensured production and delivery of 500 medals for participants.
This work combines knowledge of 3D, product design, technical documentation, and an understanding of the emotional component of awards in sporting events.
Materials: dark metal alloy, enamel according to RAL, silk-screen printing on ribbon
