Development of a 3D executive scheme: Installation of the mauerlat and reinforced belt
This project demonstrates an example of detailed processing of one of the most important and responsible construction nodes — the attachment of the roof to the wall structures. A correct understanding of this "layer" by builders guarantees the reliability of the roofing and the absence of overspending on the site.
What has been implemented:
• Accurate 3D modeling of nodes (SketchUp): The real structure has been accurately reproduced: brickwork, reinforced belt, layer of waterproofing, mauerlat beam, and fastening bolts.
• Visual spatial sections: "Cuts" have been made in concrete and wood to show hidden works and the depth of fastening installations. Such visualization removes 99% of questions from installers and foremen.
• Standard engineering design (LayOut): Full-fledged sheets of executive documentation have been developed with stamps, annotations, dimensions, and a detailed list of material volumes (WOR).
What problem does this solve for the client: Instead of complex and unclear flat 2D drawings, the contractor receives a transparent 3D instruction. This eliminates errors during concrete pouring and beam installation, while the accurate list of materials prevents overpayment for excess.
