Development of an online store on WordPress + WooCommerce (custom theme, individual design, payment system, Telegram bot, weight units for products)
Project: a full-fledged online store based on a custom design (took inspiration from a competitor's design). Implemented unique functionality with custom plugins, a payment system, Telegram bot, and support for weight units for products.
What has been done:
• Developed a unique WordPress theme from scratch based on an individual design. No templates — only clean code and high performance.
• Created the following pages: main page with catalog, individual product page (single-product), new cart and checkout page, and an order confirmation page.
• Fully responsive layout — the site works on PCs, tablets, and mobile devices. Retina display support.
• Code meets standards: used PHP, HTML, CSS for structure and styles, as well as PHP and JavaScript for functionality.
• Created a custom plugin for SEO optimization. Can set title and meta tags separately for each page. The site is ready for search engine promotion.
• After placing an order, the application is automatically sent to the Telegram bot.
• Developed a custom plugin to limit minimum order quantities based on product type. For example: minimum 300 grams, or 1 piece, or 1 kg. Each product has its own measurement unit.
• Uploaded about 100 products with different measurement logic: grams, kilograms, pieces; and categories.
• Implemented basic animations to improve interaction with the site.
• Added product search by catalog.
• Integrated WayForPay payment system for online payments directly from the site.
Result: a modern and functional online store that combines custom development, a user-friendly management system, flexible product functionality, and quick order processing via Telegram.
