Digitization of paper sketches into a format for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines.
The design of a complex control panel has been completed for subsequent laser cutting from sheet metal. The work included transferring the client's technical requirements into a digital vector format, taking into account the assembly units.
What has been done:
Geometry and dimensions: Accurate placement of mounting holes for fasteners and functional elements.
Ventilation grilles: A cooling system has been designed in the form of parallel slots (cuts), ensuring air circulation without loss of panel rigidity.
Complex cutouts: Contours have been prepared for rectangular interfaces (displays/switches) while adhering to technological radii.
Preparation for CNC: The file is completely cleared of duplicate lines, all vectors are closed, ensuring a clean cut by the machine without failures.

Tool: FreeCAD.
Format: DXF (ready for upload to the machine controller).
Purpose: Laser cutting of metal.
