I edited this video, trying to make it resemble a dynamic documentary film. The main goal was to keep the viewer from getting bored for even a second.
I chose a rhythm of editing to alternate between fast and calmer parts. This way, the story didn't become monotonous, and the viewer could catch their breath a bit and better feel what was happening.
Sound is very important here. I carefully selected music, sounds, and accents to enhance tension, create the right atmosphere, and make the key moments even more emotional.
In addition to the main footage, I used a lot of additional materials: old clips, photographs, maps, and more. This helped to better reveal the story, complement the narrative, and make the viewing experience more interesting.
I also made sure that the transitions between different parts were smooth. I wanted each new story to logically flow from the previous one, and for everything to look like a cohesive whole.
I edited it for about a week.
