The main aim was to ensure that the viewer remained glued to the screen right to the end and felt the tension.

I edited the film so that the story unfolded gradually and was easy to follow. I combined the author’s narration with various materials: old videos, photos, CCTV footage, news clips, reports and other visual elements. This helped to make the story more vivid and created the feeling that the viewer was immersing themselves in the documentary investigation.

I paid particular attention to the pacing. Calm moments alternated with tense scenes. This helped to gradually build the drama and emotional impact without losing momentum.

I also worked on the sound: selecting music, effects and highlights to enhance the atmosphere, emphasise key moments in the story and make the viewing experience more engaging.

To highlight key details, I used close-ups of photographs, documents, messages and other evidence. This helped the viewer to better absorb the information and follow the progress of the investigation.

The result is a dynamic edit in the True Crime style. It combines documentary storytelling, atmospheric sound and a carefully crafted visual style.
