Dynamic editing of YouTube Shorts / Reels (Example of viral content

Case: Creation and editing of a viral vertical video (YouTube Shorts / Instagram Reels) with a high viewer retention rate.

In this project, a complete cycle of manual editing and adaptation of horizontal footage to a vertical format of 9:16 was implemented:

• Framing and composition: Creation of a unique three-panel interface (split-screen) for simultaneous display of different characters' reactions and focus on details.
• Dynamic editing: Fast-paced cuts that capture attention from the first second and are adapted to Shorts algorithms.
• Audio work and sound design: Clean mixing of audio tracks, emphasizing humorous moments with sound effects (SFX) and marker sounds.
• Visual effects (VFX): Integration of animated elements, graphic overlays, masks, and face tracking to enhance the comedic effect.
• Subtitle work: Creation of stylized, easy-to-read dynamic subtitles for better content perception without sound.

The video is fully edited manually, with each cut and sound effect selected for maximum viral impact and view acceleration.
