E-commerce report in Tableau Public
This project was created for a comprehensive analysis of the operational indicators of e-commerce. The main task was to structure disparate data on sales and profitability to identify business patterns. The work was carried out to provide management with a visual tool for monitoring the effectiveness of product categories and regional representations. I developed an interactive dashboard that includes a detailed analysis of profit by categories, states, and individual customers. During the implementation process, Tableau tools were used to calculate computed fields and set up dynamic filters. This allowed for the identification of the most profitable market segments and the discovery of unprofitable product positions. As a result, we obtained a system that visualizes sales dynamics and allows for a detailed examination of the financial results of each region. The dashboard helped identify key customers who generate the main revenue for the company. A clear connection was established between the number of products sold and the final profit by states. The project provided the ability for quick decision-making regarding the optimization of the product assortment. All data was consolidated into a single analytical picture, available for online viewing. This significantly reduced the time for preparing regular reports and increased the accuracy of business conclusions.
