Editing a book

A guy named Dude lives his life: tangled, hazy, and perpetually intoxicated. His idols are already deceased soloists of psychedelic rock bands from the 70s, and he, a slacker and a loser, wasn't always like this... On one of those hazy days, he participates in a scientific experiment, after which he finds himself in a new body, and from a shabby province, he ends up in one of the capitals of the world — New York. Life gives Dude a chance to start everything with a new verse. All the thoughts and memories he had remain with him. Along his journey, he encounters a bunch of absurd, grotesque, and mortal heroes who show him who he really is. Throughout the story, he tries to figure out why he is here. Brain. Kebab. The past. Love and Denial. Fear and the Present. Jim Morrison's grave and the tragedy of Syd Barrett. Kazakh and Moldova. This story is about that! And about how Dude used his second chance.
