EXOLOOK: launching a women's clothing brand from scratch — +500% in a year
Social Media Advertising 447 USDProject Information
EXOLOOK is a Ukrainian women's activewear brand with its own production: jumpsuits, leggings, tops, rash guards, and shorts.
We launched the brand completely from scratch: created a new website, set up Meta and Google ad accounts, and simultaneously developed Instagram. At the start, the brand had no history of advertising campaigns or a formed audience.
The project is confidential, so specific financial indicators and advertising budgets are not disclosed.
Task
The main task was to launch a new brand from scratch and build a sales acquisition system.
The first goal was to make the advertising break even, after which the project would be transitioned to stable profit and scaled.
What was immediately noted:
* The Meta and Google ad accounts had no conversion history, so the algorithms needed to be trained from scratch.
* It was necessary to work not only on sales but also on brand recognition and Instagram development.
* For different goals, it was necessary to separate advertising campaigns and use different approaches to the audience.
Work
1. Launched advertising campaigns in Meta and Google from scratch.
2. Divided the campaigns into two directions:
* Media — for increasing brand awareness, introducing the audience to EXOLOOK, and developing Instagram.
* Performance — for attracting targeted traffic to the website and generating sales.
3. Conducted extensive testing of advertising creatives: static images and videos. Identified the most effective formats for attracting attention and sales.
4. Simultaneously worked on Instagram development and website sales to form not only short-term results but also a long-term brand audience.
Challenges
1. Starting from scratch.
The ad accounts had no conversion history, so the algorithms gradually learned and accumulated the necessary data. It took about 2–3 months for the advertising to break even.
2. Technical issues with conversion tracking.
At the start, we discovered duplicate purchases and incorrect data transmission. Together with the client, we established correct tracking so that Meta and Google received accurate data for optimization.
Results
In about 3 months, we managed to make the advertising campaigns break even.
Starting from the 5th–6th month of work, the project has been operating profitably.
In the first year, the brand grew by +500% and gathered about 8,700 followers on Instagram.
Brand Journey:
Start from scratch — new website, Meta and Google ad accounts turnkey.
2–3 months — break even.
5–6 months — stable project operation in profit.
1 year — +500% growth and about 8,700 followers.
Summary
In the first year of operation, we managed to launch and scale a new brand from scratch. We created a turnkey advertising infrastructure, launched Meta and Google, made the advertising break even in 2–3 months, and from the 5th–6th month ensured stable project operation in profit.
In a year, the brand grew by +500% and formed an audience of about 8,700 followers on Instagram.
We are now testing TikTok as an additional source of audience engagement, and the client plans media integrations with bloggers.
Specific financial indicators and advertising budgets are confidential, so the case shows relative growth dynamics.
