March 8 – Ukraine, like many other countries in the world, celebrates International Women’s Day. Recently this holiday in us was associated with tulipans and spring, which, unquestionably, pleased the owners of flowers stores.
However, over the past few years in Ukraine there are active discussions about 8 Bresnia. Some proposed to cancel it through stereotypical perception as a "father of flowers and beauty", while others advocate for re-thinking, because it means the historic struggle of women for their rights. There is also a category of people who are owned by any format, since March 8 was a weekend on the state level.
