Restrictions on card transactions in Ukraine

In Ukraine, they are planning to introduce restrictions on card transactions. This step is aimed at fighting mycoding - a change in the purpose of payments to avoid tax payments.

According to the Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy of the Supreme Council, Danila Gettmanceva, the limitation will not touch 99% of the cash-free operations that the Ukrainians perform daily. Their goal is to prevent the illegal activity of drug traders, illegal alcohol and tobacco, as well as representatives of illegal gambling business.
